Chasing Abundance in Every Corner of Life.

Abundance. That’s a word, isn’t it? For most, it screams money, heaps of it, or perhaps a lavish spread on a dining table. But, and here’s the crux of it, what if there’s more to it than the obvious?

Picture this for a second.

You. A narrow alley. Familiar. You’ve walked it a thousand times. Yet today? There’s a scent in the air. Floral? Fruity? You can’t pin it. Intrigued, you follow your nose (quite literally) and stumble upon a hidden garden. Bursting marigolds, dainty daisies, and, oh, is that a sunflower? Now that’s abundance!

Not in the grandeur way, but in the small, nuanced, “hey, I never noticed that before” kind of way.

Take relationships. We’re not talking about those 1000 Facebook friends or 5000 Instagram followers. No. Think about that one friend. Yeah, that one. The 2 am friend. Who listens to your rants, nods at your nonsense, and still thinks you’re brilliant. Isn’t that abundant love?

Ever been caught in the rain? Not the get-annoyed-and-run kind. The other kind. Where you spread your arms, turn your face up and just… feel? The drops, the chill, the sheer wildness of nature. Isn’t that an abundant experience?

What about challenges? Yeah, they’re pesky. Yet, each one comes with its little package of growth. The stumble-before-you-walk kind. The breakdown-before-you-breakthrough kind. They’re abundant in wisdom, if only we care to unwrap them.

But here’s a thing. What feels abundant to me, might feel puny to you. That’s okay. Because you see, abundance doesn’t have a standard yardstick. It’s like a chameleon, blending into our dreams, aspirations, and sometimes, our whims.

It’s everywhere. Yet it’s elusive. Like that book that’s been on your shelf for ages. You never bothered, but on a dreary Sunday afternoon, you flip it open. And bam! It’s a treasure trove. Stories, lessons, laughter – all waiting, tucked between two covers. Abundance was always there; you just had to look.

To wrap this up (before you start thinking I’m on a rambling spree), here’s the golden nugget. Abundance isn’t about seeking more. It’s about appreciating more. The more we see, the more we find. And in that ‘finding’, life becomes a tad bit richer, a tad bit fuller.

As you march on, with your plans, dreams, and perhaps, a coffee in hand, remember to pause. Breathe. Look. You might just spot abundance, waving at you from a corner.
